RacingHK subscriptions and accounts are only intended to be used by a single person. Multiple people accessing the same user  account is in violation of our user agreement.

RacingHK uses industry-standard security, similar to eCommerce sites, financial institutions, and other secure web-based (SaaS) software solutions. All of your details are encrypted, password-protected and require a login to access.

To login to an account please click the "Login" button located at the top right of the page. You will also be prompted to login if you visit any secure members-only page within the RacingHK site.

If you have never logged in to your account before, you will have received a "Welcome to RacingHK" email with your account information.

If you cannot locate this email, please check your spam folder. If the email cannot be located in your spam folder please contact our Customer Service Team via the "Contact Us" link under support.

This can be done by logging into your account and visiting your Account Details and Personal Site Settings page within  Support. To edit information on either of these pages please click the "edit details" button to make changes.

We bill you via PayPal, an international accepted method of online payment. PayPal has over 225million users worldwide and is the safest and fastest way to make payments online. PayPal accepts credit cards, debit cards and bank transfers and other payment methods.

We bill based on your selected subscription period, with no cancellation fees. 

Simply login, click the "Account Details" link then click "Billing". On the Billing screen, click the link "Cancel Subscription". Your cancelation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

While our Total Speed ratings are similar to traditional speed figures, they are calculated using an original formula. In addition, where many speed figures are adjusted if they are produced in a race where the pace was slow, out Total Speed ratings represent as near as possible the horse's true speed in the race. Since our Early Speed ratings show how fast the race pace was, we believe it is important to show the relationship between the race pace and the final speed the horse recorded.

Late Speed ratings show the strength of a horse's finishing effort - over the last 400m for most races and over the last 800m for races over 2000m or longer. The ratings make allowance for a horse's racing style and how far off the lead it usually is at the 400m (or 800m) point. Late Speed ratings are closely linked to the race pace, that is, they are usually higher when the race pace is slow.

No, RacingHK is a SaaS (Software as a Service) product. It is accessed through your Internet connection and is entirely browser-based. There is no software to download or install and no upgrades to run. You can access your RacingHK account from any web browser on any computer. However, we recommend that you have a broadband connection.

RacingHK services are web based so performance is heavily based on your browser. To increase performance, you can upgrade your browser to a faster one such as Chrome or Safari 4.
